Some of our Muses are professional models. Some have never stepped in front of a camera before. What they share isn't a particular look or body type.
It's presence.
The women who photograph best here aren't trying to disappear into the background. They bring something of themselves to the table. A sense of humor. A point of view. A little mischief. A little confidence. Maybe a lot.

What is a Muse?
A Muse is more than a photoshoot subject.
Every featured Muse becomes part of an ongoing body of work exploring beauty, personality, confidence, femininity, freedom, and self-expression through glamour and nude photography.
Some shoots are playful.
Some are athletic.
Some are elegant.
Some are wild.
No two features are exactly alike because they're built around the person being photographed.
This is glamour photography with intention, personality, and a little bit of adventure.
And yes—The Musings Project is a nude publication.
If you're selected as a Muse, you should be comfortable appearing fully nude as part of the creative process and final published work.
Who We Look For
The ideal muse isn't necessarily the most experienced model.
She's the woman who lights up a room when she walks into it.
She's confident enough to laugh at herself.
She can flirt with the camera.
She has stories.
Opinions.
Interests.
A little edge.
A little spark.
Maybe she's a college student.
Maybe she's a barista.

The Experience
Every Muse feature starts with a conversation.
We'll talk about who you are, what excites you, what inspires you, and what kind of imagery feels authentic to you.
From there, we build the concept. Location. Wardrobe. Styling. Mood. Creative direction.
Then we make something unforgettable.

How the process works
Application
Fill out the Muse Application and tell us a little about yourself.
No professional portfolio required.
Review/Selection
Applications are reviewed throughout the year.
If your look, personality, and vibe feel like a fit for an upcoming concept, we'll reach out.
Selected applicants are invited to a video call to get to know each other and discuss potential projects.
Create
This is where the magic happens.
We'll develop a concept, choose locations, plan styling, and create a feature built around you. Expect a day of creativity, adventure, laughter, and unforgettable images.
This isn't a quick photoshoot.
It's your feature.
Publish
Your feature enters the world.
Selected Muses will be featured across The Musings Project through editorial galleries, video content, social media, collector products, and future print publications.
