Taylor photographs well because she knows how to be present.

A Pacific Northwester with an adventurous spirit and an effortless connection to the natural world, Taylor brings something increasingly rare in front of the camera: authenticity. There is no character to maintain, no carefully constructed persona. What you see is a woman who is comfortable in her own skin, curious about the world around her, and willing to be seen as she is.

For her June feature in The Musings Project, we ventured into the landscapes that define so much of the Pacific Northwest experience—wild grasses, weathered structures, open skies, and the quiet spaces where nature slowly reclaims what was left behind. The result is a collection of images that feels both intimate and untamed.

What makes this feature special isn't simply the setting or the nudity. It's the contrast. Strength and softness. Confidence and vulnerability. A sense of freedom that can't be manufactured once the camera comes out.
