What does it actually mean to be a Muse? The word muse gets used a lot in photography, often interchangeably with model. For me, the distinction matters. A model helps create photographs. A muse inspires them.

In an era of artificial intelligence, social media performance, and endless digital content, artistic nude photography remains relevant for one simple reason: it is still capable of revealing something deeply human.

For her June feature in The Musings Project, we ventured into the landscapes that define so much of the Pacific Northwest experience—wild grasses, weathered structures, open skies, and the quiet spaces where nature slowly reclaims what was left behind.
